Character Act
The Character act brief required us to create characters, it was vague and enabled us to whatever we wanted with these illustrations. I wanted to give it a go and try something I had never done before and to put my own spin on the brief. I decided to create my own brand called Splash, and applied the designs to everyday products. I wanted to make two collections aimed at different audiences to see how the presentation of the illustrations would changed depending on the demographic. To apply my illustrations to ceramic and glass I experimented with waterside decals, which allowed me to place the illustrations exactly where I wanted them on the surface.
